It was my birthday last week. Being a lady of mature years, I tend not to look forward to them in the same way as when I was young. But I was properly spoilt this year.
You may know that I am away on holiday at the moment and normally, we are on holiday for my birthday, but this year, for the first time in many years, I was at home.
And it was a good day, made all the more special by the surprise arrival of my two gorgeous boys and their fabulous girlfriends.
There were lots of cards …..
And some gorgeous gifts …..
I am so fortunate to have such lovely people in my life.
We went to my very favourite Cafe Violette for a fabulous lunch … all my special people around me.
